Joan of Arc (6 January 1412- 30 may 1431) is a heroine of France who led the French army to victory over the British during the Hundred Years’ War. Joan claimed that she was acting under divine guidance instructing her to support Charles VII and recover France from English domination. More than 500 years after her execution, Joan of Arc was canonized by Pope Benedict XV as a Roman Catholic saint. Enjoy this tour.
