The bronze-made statue of Alan Turing portrays him as walking across the campus putting one hand in his pocket and carrying his book in another hand. The campus building behind the statue gives a decent view.

John W. Mills sculpted the statue of Alan Turing which was uncovered on 28 October 2004 at the University of Surrey in Guildford. The authority chose that date because it was Turing's 50th death anniversary. The bronze statue was designed as Turing is walking across the campus while carrying his book.
