The University of London has a high-rise senate-house with a flag on top of it. The wide Connaught Hall building is also a section of London University.

 

In 1928, Alexander Fleming was nominated as a professor of Bacteriology of London University. The event of nominating him took place at St Mary's Hospital, where he returned in 1918.

The entrance examination of London is known as one of the toughest until now. Even Kwame Nkrumah, the first Prime Minister and President of Ghana had sat for the examination and failed.
