The 1300 years old Sherborne School one of the most attractive tourist places in the UK. The perfect structure with a combination of yellowish mosaic design looks beautiful.

Alan Turing was a student of Sherborne School. The school is an independent boarding school located in the town of Sherborne in Dorset. An interesting event of Turing is associated with this school. That was the first day of term in 1926 and Alan was only 13 then. Coincidently, the 1926 General Strike in Britain was on the same day. As a bright student, Alan was so passionate to attend the class, that he traveled a total of 97 Kilometers (60 miles) from Southampton to Sherborne riding his bicycle! Though he had to spend a night at an inn, he made that.
