Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is a non-profit research institution established in 1890. There is a signboard of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory at the entrance of the laboratory.

 

Alexander Bell used to attend meetings at the Eugenics Record Office as he was the chairman of the board of scientific advisers of it. This office was associated with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in New York. He held the position of charman there from 1912 to 1918.
