The Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House is a nicely structured massive building. The building is located at the center of New York, USA. In 1976, the building was declared as a National Historic Landmark.

The Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House was built from 1902 to 1907. The federal government built it for housing the duty collection operations for the Port of New York. The location of the house is surrounded by some famous construction including the original center of the settlement of New Amsterdam, Fort Amsterdam, and the Government House, which was built for the official residence of the US president. However, the Government House was never occupied. As Hamilton was the first secretary of the treasury and one of the founding fathers of the US, the Custom House was named after him honoring his contribution.
